Label the source and purpose
When accepting a page, document or image, record where it came from and what the user wants done. Separate the user instruction from text inside the material. Instructions can appear in screenshots, captions or comments; being visible to a model does not grant them authority over application rules.
Label external material in the application context and keep processing tied to the task. Labels help organize input but are not a security guarantee. Application permission checks must decide whether files, network requests or account actions are allowed.
Inspect sensitive content before sending
Check for credentials, customer content, internal addresses and personal information that should not be sent. Remove material unrelated to the task and use reviewed, redacted samples where possible. Inspect screenshot edges, browser tabs and filenames as well as the main content.
If samples must be retained, define their scope, readers and retention first. Logs can contain file type, processing state and a redacted problem summary without retaining the full attachment. Ask the responsible person when authorization is unclear; readability does not establish permission to process.
Validate output before tool execution
Treat generated text, links and action parameters as proposals. Before using them, validate format, allowed destinations and the current user permission. Apply project boundaries to URLs and paths instead of inserting generated values directly into commands or unrestricted requests.
For messages, payments, deletion or data changes, show the concrete target and impact and follow the business confirmation process. After a disconnect, check whether the action happened rather than replaying it automatically. Record generation separately from execution to locate the failure boundary.
Test the boundaries with reviewable cases
Use materials containing no real secrets to test normal content, disguised instructions, sensitive fragments and invalid tool parameters. Check both the model output and whether the application executed an action. A polite refusal alone does not validate the entire path.
NexoToken provides multi-model API access, account credits and usage records. Check its current documentation, catalog and pricing. Source labels, sensitive-content checks and tool permissions belong in the integrating application; changing an endpoint or model does not complete a security review.
